What is this Corvette Tool?

All:
This question may be one that Joe Lucia (DR part number) can answer, my friend gave me a corvette tool that came out of a body shop. It has written on the tool, Corvette tool 32535 U.S.A. I am told it is old but looks brand new. I would guess it is a brake adjusting tool or maybe a trim removal tool? If the number does not help I'll take a picture. It's difficult to describe, 6" long thin strip with an arch in it and on one end is a birds beak notch, other end has a "L" shaped 2-1/2" handle.

Sounds like a tool to remove chrome trim. Post a picture.

I don't think the "32535" is a Delco or GM part number. It might be an old Kent-Moore "J-" tool number, though. If so, I can't find any record of it.

A friend of mine showed me the exact same tool a couple of weeks ago and he didn't know what it was for either.

That may be a tool to open the hood when the regular method fails. You'd reach up from under the car, grab the cable, and pull.

It may be to adjust the parking brakes. Did not find anything like it in Heckler's Catalog

It could be used to set up four speed linkage if the width is about 5/8".

I'm pretty sure someone asked this question on the Corvette Forum several years ago. If someone is registered over there, maybe they could do a search on 32535. They did come up with an answer that seemed to make sense.
