So far they do seem to match what Reba said - that the IMCO logo disappeared with the introduction of the new style heel pad for the 1972 MY.

For those with known original carpet in their 68-72 Corvette, we (those of us working on the JG revisions) have a question for you:

Do you, or do you not, have the "IMCO" logo on the driver's side heelpad where the gas pedal extension meets the main portion of the pad? (See attached picture).

If you do, or do not, please respond with the YEAR of your car, COLOR of the carpet, and whether you have standard (80/20) or deluxe (plush) interior.

There "may be" a few colors of certain age ranges that do not have the IMCO logo, and we want to see if we are noting anomalies or a pattern.

Looked at my 70 SN 7601 STD. Black has logo. Looked again with a glass 70 SN 3893 STD Tan no trace of a logo.

My 1970 LS5 with black 80-20 and my 1972 LT-1 with blue 80-20 both had the IMCO logo on the carpet that I replaced. I put in carpet that I bought from Romeo. They were the only ones that have the IMCO logo.

My Nov. 1971 built 72 with original black carpet and standard interior does NOT have the logo. I am doing this from memory and can't check it (out of the country right now) but I did a long and hard search looking for this prior to having it judged several years ago. I will revisit this thread when I return to PA. I am 95% certain that there is not a logo.

I was cleaning out the storage shed and about to toss my old carpet but remembered your thread. If your still tracking this I've attached a couple pictures.

This is 68 vin 01580. No logo.
