Windshield washer hose - splitting

My original windshield washer hoses that go from the pump to the nozzles are split on the ends...I have trimmed them back, but still split when putting over the fittings. Any suggestions? (other than buying repro hoses).

Since you have nothing to loose. I have had some sucess wiping hoses down with strip ease paint stripper. It does soften the rubber. Sometimes the rubber is so hard nothing helps.

Keep in mind this is not a permanent fix. They will harden up again with time.

Recommend buying repros from DR REBUILD. Some things are just not meant to last 50 years.
