C2 Vent window help for my 67 conv

I have searched the archieves and could not find the help to my problem. I had my window frames for my 67 conv all rechromed and now the vent window pins do not fit into the "sleeve" or "hole" anymore. It appears that the rechroming went into the hole where the pin slides into. Any ideas on how I should fix this? Reduce the pin size or drill out the hole? It's a fair amount that needs to be removed not just a burr or something. Thanks for the help.

Had the samething happen, I did not use a drill bit, I used a dremel tool, looked like a small rod with a bit of sanding grit on it.

Thanks. Did it cause any damage to the chrome? Did you tape it off and did you do it free hand or use some type of jig?

Free hand and holding my breath, for $185 you would think they would check the pin hole size.
