Hi,
I have replaced the window whiskers in my door and when the window goes up and down it is binding on the metal trim of the whisker. The trim was sitting on top of the window post but now is well below the curve of the post by approx. 1/4 inch. This is causing the binding I think.
It has been suggested to me to cut the metal trim at the front end (the curve end) so that there is not as much going up the post by the 1/4 inch that it has dipped down. The idea being it will sit higher on the chrome window post. I hope I have explained clearly. Is there another solution to this problem?
Thanks for your help
