RC 15 Radiator Cap Restoration

Hi Guys,

Much to my disappointment John Pirkle is no longer restoring RC 15 radiator caps. I spoke with him today and was shocked when he told me. In lieu of that, can anyone recommend a top notch person to restore and rebuild my RC 15 radiator cap?

I believe that he sells (or has sold) a lot of them on ebay.
Assuming it's the same guy, he does exquisite work.

Is he still in the restoration business on other Corvette components (starters) or is he geeting out of the business all together. I don't have John's phone number to call him myself.

John is most certainly still in the Corvette rebuild business. I do not want to start any rumors. He simply told me due to the parts getting too hard to find, he is no longer doing radiator caps. You can absolutely still send him starters, alternators etc.

Excellent. I certainly don't want to create or spread any rumors either. I just wan't sure what the post meant other than the obvious; he isn't restoring the radiator caps anymore.
