    C1 Door hinge tension spring

I have a problem with the passenger side door. When the door is in the full open position it is hard to pull closed like it is in a detent or something. There is no problem with the drive side door.
Other than the full open position there is no problem. Both doors have new hinge tension springs. This was a problem with the old hinge/springs also. Any suggestions

Thanks Mike. That worked like a charm. Sometimes the obvious has to slap you in the face before you notice. Sully

Bob, I am having the same issue that you described. I tried applying a bunch of white lithium grease to the tension spring as best I could and it only helped a little on the passenger's side door.

Maybe I am applying the grease to the wrong area.

How did you apply the grease? Did you take the doors completely off?
