On the right hand side of the trans are the #s 3925661, any idea what it came out of, quite sure it's wrong for a 1967. On the left side there is some kind of sensor sticking out with a flat spade on it, of coase no wire is hooked to it. It is a 4 speed.

Re: 1967 trans #s
Keith-----
The 3925661 may have been used for a small number of 1968-69 transmissions but, mostly, it was used for 1970-74 Muncies. It was also the SERVICE case for all 1966-74 Muncies for many years. It was never originally used for 1967, though.
The connector that you see on the left side, probably on the forward shifter lever boss of the side cover, is the TCS switch. This switch was used for some 1970 and all 1971-74 Corvettes. If the actual switch is present (rather than just a plug), it's likely that this transmission came from a later application, Corvette or otherwise.
Information on its original application may be found on the stampings on the rear vertical surface of the transmission main case. There may be two series of characters, one beginning with a "P" and another beginning with a number. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
