What would be the correct date to have put on the convertible top rear window on 1954 Corvette #114 ?

The car was built on or about January 14, 1954.
Should top be dated 4 to 6 weeks prior to that date?

Almost any corvette supply company offers convertible tops stamped with the correct date of application per the build date of the car. Al Knoch, Ecklers, corvette central etc...

I just ordered one for my '60.

Neither Al Knoch, Ecklers, or Corvette Central offer correct date coded Haartz Stayfast tops for C4s. Al Knoch says that sometime in the next year he MAY offer correct date coded C4 tops. While Knoch and several others offer correct tops up to 1976, I can't seem to find anyone who offers correct date coded tops for C4s.

If anyone knows of a credible supply vendor, please let me know.

Mid America Motorworks sells Haartz cloth tops for 86 to 94 Corvettes along with thier line of tops for 56 to 96 Corvettes.
The 2 1954 Corvette tops I bought were from Al Knoch and were tan Haartz Cloth and I had to wait about 1 year to get them.
The supply of good Haartz material is scarce and it seems to be difficult to get.

Thanks Bruce. I know that Knoch, Ecklers, Mid-America and many others all offer Haartz Stayfast tops for C4 Corvettes. In fact I have one. However, non of these vendors offer the correct window stampings and correct date code for a specific car. This is my problem - the correct top & material is offered, but the correct window stamp & date code is not available for C4's. Correct window stamping & date codes are available for 1976 and earlier cars.

If anyone knows of a vendor who offers correct top window stampings & date coding for C4's, please let me know.
