Cadmium Platers
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good cadmium plater in the mid / southeast Michigan area? I have a few pieces off my '64 roadster that need replating. Thanks for any leads.

Have you tired the table top units that some people are using and have written about here?
There are a couple shops on the Detroit limit that do this stuff. Better to have all of it perfectly clean and ready to go as the cost is more job based.Comment

Just have your parts zinc plated. GM rarely (if ever) used cad plating on C2s. GM specs specified either was acceptable, so suppliers opted for zinc due to cost and hazardous nature of cad. Cad is really nasty stuff and there really isn't a good reason to use it.Comment
