The swap meet put on by the Glass Society Corvette Club of Lima, Ohio was great in my opinion.
Lots of C1 parts and other parts, and plenty of old guys telling loads of stories.
Support these kind of activities since they contribute to our hobby and the love of Corvettes.

I appreciate you coming out. This event almost died last year. For years it has been held at the Allen County Fairgrounds in Lima, Ohio. It was cancelled at the last minute due to low vendor sign up.

I DONATED our entire BUDS facility for the day to the Glass Society Corvette club. That saved them a huge amount of money in facility rent. They were able to better use their dollars to better promote the event. All proceeds from the door also went to the club.

I was glad I could donate the facility and my time to try and save this event. A big thanks to all of my NCRS friends who made the trip to support the event. Without you guys, these events die out.

I have agreed to do it again in 2011 !!! See ya there !

I read about that meet being at Bud's. Wish more Chevrolet Dealers would do that. Any pic's ? Any ideal of how many people were there ? I'm sure Tom will let us know. How many new Corvettes were sold, gotta be a few. Save the Wave.>George

Hi George !!!

I actually took the day off from selling cars and just mingled with the crowd and sold some old parts I had stashed upstairs. Just enjoyed the day. It was fun getting my hands dirty and loading parts in trucks and vans !!!!

Just under 400 people came through the door.

Tom great facility nice to talk with you at the end of the day. Glad to hear you will support the club and have the swap meet next year also. The buyers were down but that's been the case everywhere and being the first year at Buds did not help till word gets out. It's always a great day when I can find a '68 part. Thanks for stepping up for the Glass City Corvette Club and all Corvette owners looking for those hard to find parts. It was a fun time and I'm glad to hear it will happen next year too. I will have to find a special spot for my Bud's sticker too!

Our Michigan NCRS Chapter sponsor (Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield) clears out his entire Service Department every year for our annual Charity Swap Meet, and has for the last 14 years. This year it's on Sunday, April 11th, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Details on the website, www.michiganncrs.org.
