    C1 top frame

Can anyone tell me the size and length of the bolts that hold the convertible top frame to the brackets behind the seats on a '61? Also, what kind of washers and how many bolts?
    Thanks

Purchase an AIM (Assembly instruction manual), get the part #s off the sheet and get access to a Standard Parts Catalogue. You then have the exact specs for what you need.

Thanks Loren. This is a problem I've always had in seeing fasteners in the AIM but not knowing where to go for an ID of the part. Is the standard Parts Catalog available anywhere for sale or accessable on the internet?

The earliest Std Parts Bk I have is circa 1971. In the early 60's parts books, this section would be printed in Group 8.900.....

I had a thread a long time ago here with scanned pages from the 59 parts catalog. Too tired to search for it, so I'll just insert the links to my website with the pages from it that may help. It may give you the size info......Rich
p.s. please remember that these were service replacements at the parts counters at not necessarily used at the factory.
p.p.s 61's likely used the same hardware as 59's in most cases. I have a 62 and much is the same as my 59.
