I found this on flee bay. The way I read the numbers on the Carb it looks like it is for a 69 Chevy with a manual trans. But if you look at the date code the way I read it was made on the 171 day in 1967?? Am I wrong?

Re: Carb on Flee bay date question
As Sal said this is a service date carb. It is for the 1969 Corvette L46 350/350 engine. The deduction for the wrong date on the carb would be 12 points.

Re: Carb on Flee bay date question
Joseph, the rule of thumb for judging is 6 months prior to the build date of the car. This is for all dated parts.
