Well, this is certainly close, BUUUUUUUUUT, it doesn't quite correspond with what Jack gave me back in 81 at the NCRS Natls.
It does in fact show that my 56 (4363) was built on Sep 7, but the first-last VINs are not quite the same.

Interesting...19 cars built on 9-7-56.

Just as an aside, I was reading Vette Vues from quite a few years ago and even then Mike's surveys were showing a significantly higher percentage reported of 'desirable' colors and horsepower fuelies than the percentages actually produced, so even way back it looks like people were faking up their cars.
