    Broken hood release

Help..anybody! My right side hood release cable came loose from the release mechanism, and I can't open my hood. Is there any way to get the hood open short of a sawzall?

    Thanks,
    Bob

Jack the car up and remove the triangular splash pan and you should be able to get to the release lever. Go to the SEARCH and put in broken hood release and you will find more info.

William is right. You should be able to trip the release from under the car. Don't ask me how I know !

Glad it got it. Now is the cable came loose from the locking barrel with the set screw, BEND the cable so it don't happen again. Bill
