    67 and F41 suspension

Can someone explain to me why this car on ebay shows F41 suspension on the window sticker and not on the tank sticker? Was a mistake made somewhere? Are there any other irregularities?

Car sure presents well. Couple of remarks, the vin tag looks TOO shiny, and what are those 2 plates on the underside by the brake cable. Regards, the sticker, the window could be a repro, and nobody caught the mistake. Bill

Lots of irregularities, including that neither the rear spring nor the shocks are the F41 style. The car is pretty in the pictures, but you can't really see much, there a lots of pictures, but not of the important items to assess originality of sidepipes or other issues. One might ask why on a "full body off nut and bolt restoration" would the car have a fiberglass rear spring?

Agree with you, plus I would want to do a very careful inspection of the frame as I see some things in the photo that appear non typical.

You guys are pretty good, I hadn't even noticed the ps or pb. What about the cutout for the side exhaust? How does that look? The vin tag is the shiniest one I've ever seen. Not a speck of dust even around the rosette rivets. And there is no sign of headrest seats or std black top on the tank sticker or window sticker, so it looks like both of them are wrong for the car that we see.

Previous posts on the same car a few weeks back. Go to that post and you will see. Car looks nice, but is not right. Beginning with the Vin tag!

Don't know how I missed it. Anyhow I will cross 194677S105069 off my list of possible candidates, even though is is a very nice looking car. thanks

Window sticker is an obvious fake, and the headrests were added.

                    John,

What's the give-away on the window sticker that tells you it's a fake?

No Ident number in the upper right quadrant for one.......

Tank sticker has the top completely missing which would also carry the Ident number and the dealer code as well as dates that would be in proximity to serial # birthday. How convenient.........

Yes, for $1000ea there is a guy that will make all these stickers you want, rapid ageing and all. Too bad they don't pass the acid free archival paper test

Good thing we have everyone looking, younger and inexperienced buysres need this help.

Too bad for the guy that is going to pay over 70K for this car.
