Judging Points update

Has anyone received new judging pins for activites attened in 2009?
My current judging level (at the beginning of 2009) was 5.2.
By checking my profile, I see that I acquired 17 judging and 4 sportsman points.

Some of the award pins take extra time to arrive. I did not receive mine until mid 2009 for my 07&08 activities. Each member is responsible to track their own points. Mistakes have been made only because we are human and can be rectified quickly with the new data base.

17 points in one year, requires a lot of traveling and dedication to the hobby. Congratulations on your achievement

Do you mean these tiny gold color trinkets that look like ear rings and made in China? I got two yesterday with my Judging Card signed by Roy and I couldn't figure out what they were for. PT

One has to have 10 judging points, or Level 1, in order to receive a judging pin and update card.

I received my update yesterday too.
It's pleasant to get a little surprise in the mail that doesn't need to go on to the stack of 'to pay' bills and statements.

They're part of the Judging Recognition Program (see page 42, item #6 in the Judging Reference Manual); you get the card, hanger bar and number plate once you've accumulated 10 judging points (Level 1), and you'll get an updated number plate annually if you've accumulated at least 10 more points (to level 2, etc.).

Thanks John, mine say level 2 but I don't wear hats because I still have all my hair! Maybe I'll get an NCRS tattoo, that would really impress the Judges!
