Identify meter blocks on 3124 L78 service carb

This is a carb I bought in the early '90s at a swapmeet. Dates to May 1966 so it was an early service unit. In the pic you can see the primary meter block is a 5800 (the secondary is 5802). Of course, these are not the expected 4456 and 4519 that would be on a '65 396 TFP carb.

Can anybody identify where these meter blocks might have been used ?

Wayne, I used to manage a parts store in the late 70's . You're question reminded me that I have a holley parts & specs manual, so I looked up you're numbers. The only 2 carbs I could find that used the 5800 primary block and the 5802 secondary block were LIST #R4223AAS an 850 CFM for a hi perf 427 (it doesn't specify whether it's a chevy or ford 427). The other one is LIST #R4578AAS 850CFM for shelby hi perf 427. The carb you have is listed as being for a 65 1/2 corvette hi perf 427. The R3124A carb is the only one I could find that uses the 4456 primary block, but there are a number of others that use the 4519 secondary block. List #s R3130A,R3246A,R3247A,R3310A,R3613A,R3910A,R3911A,R 4053A,R4346A,R4490A,R4492A,R4555A,R4557A,R4801A,R4 802A,R4803A,R4815AAA,R6238A,R6239AR6647A,. I hope this information is of some use to you.
