Discount from Al Knoch

I placed an order on line the other night with Al Knoch. In the area for coupon I placed my NCRS number. I called them the next day to place an additional order.
They asked me what was the coupon code because they did not recognize it. I mentioned that Covette Central will give you a discount with your NCRS number. They said they did not do that.

Later that day they called my house and left a message to call them back.
When I called them back they told me they went ahead and gave me the discount hoping I would order from them again.
It never hurts to try!

A few years ago I bought a new pair of deluxe door panels for my '67 from AK for $850 and tried to install them the other day. Not even close, they won't fit on correctly and look like hell. There is a big gap up next to the vent window that I cannot fix, so buyer beware!!

Just last week I tried to order a correct date coded Haartz Stayfast top from them. Their web site said that they had such an item. In previous telephone conversations with them they said all they needed to complete my C4 top order was my VIN number.

The bottom line is they DO NOT have properly date coded C4 tops of any kind and they WOULD NOT offer me an NCRS discount. Maybe they should correct their Driveline ads or better yet, take their ads out altogether !!!

Thanks for the heads up on AK. I have not ordered from them and have heard good and bad things about their products. The items I ordered will be placed on the car immediately after arrival so if they are not correct I will return them ASAP.
