    C1 Repro vs. Real Washer Nozzel Advice Needed

    Can anyone tell me the difference between the CURRENT repro. washer nozzles and the original nozzles? Thanks!!!

    There are several catalogs and perhaps different sources for reproduction parts, so I'm not sure that I can give you a definitive answer as to 'THE REPRO' washer nozzle.

    But, the body of the factory original part was a cast item that was chromed and the prior reproduction nozzle body I'm used to seeing was a machined part that was chromed. That left a few differences which were visible.

    Specifically, the exact geometry of the hex facets surrounding the body and the surface texture of the top of the hex body. The machined part tended to have circular 'swirl' marks left from the machining process while the original cast part was rather smooth on top.

    BTW, the quality of chrome on original washer nozzles wasn't show quality perfect either...
