C2 Steering Mast Color Paint Margin

The midyear steering mast is black at the bottom, but painted the interior color at the top. How far down from the top does the color paint go and is the margin where it ends a sharp line like it was masked off, or is it just the unevenness of the spray gun?

Ken, the interior color paint starts to fade at 12 inches from the top of the mast jack.

There is a piece of black cloth tape 13 1/4 inches from the top lip of the control assembly to hold the wire in-place.

As I recall this is a 63 only color scheme, 64 to 67 was all black.
