    '62 Wonderbar glitch?

My '62 radio has been working fine till recently. Now the Wonderbar works, except when I release the bar it stops searching. If I hold it down it runs back and forth normally. Stations are coming in strong. I replaced the Trigger Detect and RF Amplifier tubes, but no change in glitch. Does anybody have any suggestions, tricks or experience on who to send it to?

I second Jerry, very knowledgeable about these old radios, and a super nice guy.

From lots of experience, I and many others have had great luck with Charles Siegfried in California. Charles does not repair wonderbars, he rebuilds them from top to bottom for many years of trouble free use. The will guarantee his work for 3 years. This is an area where you get what you pay for. Search the archives as there has been lots of discussion on this subject.
