    63 Bypass/Exp Tank Clamps

Trying to determine if water pump bypass, expansion tank to tee and expansion tank to radiator clamps are original in below pics. Part #s 274337 and 111607 in AIM 11-13/8. Car had the same clamps for bypass and tee. Since L76/L84 sections don't list this part number not sure what's correct. Also included is pic of hose from expansion tank to radiator. Not sure if original. Can someone please educate me on clamp details?

    Thanks
    Jeff

    Re: 63 Bypass/Exp Tank Clamps

Well, Jeff, since no one seems interested, I'll kick it off for you.
I don't have a '63-4 AIM, however, the schematic in the '63-4 JG clearly shows this style clamp in those positions. The '65-6 & 7 AIM's show the same configuration and part numbers. This appears to be a consistant application throughout M-Y production, although, the screw head configuration did change between the years, which may or may not effect the PN's.
This may prompt others to contribute more specifics if needed.
Nice hose, especially with the "Alligator Hyde" pattern.

Jeff, Very nice original clamps. When I look at various restored cars you don't typically see the correct clamps. Now your pic is quite dark though. Would really like to see a side view if possible.
The water pump bypass hose clamps are all on their own also.
Maybe Jorjorian will chirp in as he taught me about these clamps. JD

        Re: 63 Bypass/Exp Tank Clamps

John here is hopefully better pic. Two clamps are off my 63 and 3rd clamp is 60s pass car that shows variations in design/manufacturing. All clamps are stamped A4 1/2. My 63 had same clamps on bypass as expansion tank to tee. These hoses have all been replaced so I can't verify originality of clamps. This particular car has been sitting since 1972 so there are a lot of untouched items.

        Thanks
        Jeff

Jeff, your A 4 1/2 look correct for 63 expansion T . The bypass clamps are same but larger size at A 4 3/4.Bob
