Guys, I am working on reassembly of the chassis of my '56. I am looking toward assembly of the drive train which I want to have installed before the body is dropped back on the frame. I have a three fingered pressure plate that had been on a '60 Corvette that I used to have. I would like to use this on my '56 restoration but would like to have it rebuilt as it has been sitting in my shop since back in the 1970's. Can anyone recommend a person or shop who can rebuild a clutch pressure plate? I can remember when you could find these at the auto parts store already rebuilt. Thanks in advance! The only one I know to recommend is Fort Wayne Clutch. They have been a Hemmings advertiser for MANY years, and I have not heard of any problems.
