Headlight switch dimmer squeaks
The dash light dimmer screeches when rotating, but only clockwise. The reostat disk plate and coil look to be in good shape. Is there anything I can apply like a very light smear of dielectric grease? I didn't want to try that without checking here first since it measures electrical resistance. The metal to metal screeching is very pronounced. It's a 64 model and I hate to replace an original when everything else works over such a minor anoyance.
