    Engine mount/cross brace

    I just bought a used engine mount/cross brace for my 59 283 engine and noticed that the holes that the bolts go through are significantly different in diameter. The passenger side looks about 3/4 dia and the driver side looks about 1/2 dia. The part looks un-molested.. Is this correct and why the different size?

      That's correct , the larger size is for engine Alignment or shimming the engine supports
