Correct fitt for '65 spare.

    Correct fitt for '65 spare.

    I've just have installed my spare tire assembly who has been missing for a long time, but it looks like a strange for me.
    Is the assembly correct???? I will try to make some pics.

      Looks about right. Rember it's generaly observed from the outside of the car topside, not much is really seen in that mode.

          Looks good, but with the spare in it, it might not look that good. There is generaly a little more of a gap between the lid and the tub.

            ya with the tire in it about 3/4 of an inch or less toward the back.

                Have not figgured out the picture thing yet, if your spare is in, it looks great, normally the tire is like 7 inches thick and theres only 6 1/2 inches of air space. The red line tired cars can 1/2 longer bolts.
