    Q-Jet Mount Studs

What color should the 1969 L46 Q-jet rear mount studs be? Some vendors have black and some have silver.
For the front mount bolts, are the black with double circle correct?
I did not see anything in the TIM & JG on this.

The rear studs on my 1969 were zinc plated. I don't know that all were, though.

The front bolts were also zinc plated. I've never seen an original 1969 with Q-Jet that used anything but zinc plated bolts and the specs for the GM #187147 bolt used call for it to be zinc plated. The strange thing is that the specs also call for it to be of GM 280M material grade (SAE grade 5). The original bolts on my car were "smooth top" with no radial lines and no manufacturer's ID.

      Thanks Joe,
My front bolts are black grade 5. The manufacturers mark is a circle with a line through the center. I have seen other bolts on the car with this manufacturers mark. I do not know if these bolts are originals or repops. They were not on the car the last time I owned it. I have only seen the double circle mark bolts advertised as "correct", not these.

      The rear studs are zinc.
I pulled the carb and sent it to Bob Kunz for a restore and rebuild. I found one of the rear studs had buggered up threads. That's what started me wondering about the correct bolts and studs. When the carb is ready to go back on I want to have the corrcet bolts and studs on hand.
