I attached my flex fuel line...steel line to fuel pump, and it seems a little long. The bend in the rubber is such that it is flattening out...not completely pinched closed, but it is pretty flat. Common sense tells me this will create a significant restriction to fuel flow. My car is a 58. The fuel pump is a 4445 pump and the flex line is 7 1/2 inches end-to-end from CC. I did use the 45 degree attachment on the pump with the bevel oriented slightly inboard. In what direction should the 45 degree attachment be oriented? Is the flex fuel line from CC too long? If so, what is everyone else using?
Thanks,
Jim
