That red 64' snowplow was featured in the April issue of "Corvette Magazine" detailing how it was rebuilt because "The Corvette VIN tag was intact, which makes this car a suitable canditate for rebuilding." If any others subscribe, please read the article carefully and tell me why you think he mentions the "other" 64' he has that belongs to a customer that disappeared and he "... can't sell or drive." I felt that article was somewhat brazen for publication. Don't we try to keep such activities on the DL or has it become so commonplace we don't even see it as wrong? Chip.

..and don't you get that sick feeling that some of these may roll down the auction line in the future as a "low mileage, completely original with window sticker" must have car?

One or more of those will come back as a L-88 barn find.

"Living the dream" aren't those the Dukes of Hazzard guys or maybe Starcy and Hutch? I guess they traded the General in on a Vette. Do you have any pictures of Daisy Duke now? Found one, not the quite the same.

Oh well, on the upside every time I see another one go that way it just makes the originals that much more rare and vauable.

After viewing these photos all I can say is: "Get me to an NCRS Judging Meet Quickly."

To each his own, but I prefer Original, unrestored, unmolested.

The pictures made me laugh, gave a chill, and made at awe some times. Good post.
