    1963-1964 Interior Door Panels

I purchased new interior door panels from Al Knoch and when I examined them I notice that the upper stainless trim is formed to fit around the vent window with a slight S bend. I have the originals that have a date stamp on the back of the cardboard that says March 27, 1964. This is a perfect date for my 4/28/64 build date. My originals dont have the formed S bend around the vent window. What's more, the 1963-1964 Judging Guide says they should have the bend. So are the judges just used to looking at Al Knoch panels or do I have unique original panels?

My 63 convertible is original and has the "S" bends.

Well thanks everyone. With closer inspection I have come to the conclusion that the upper metal trim on my original door panels must have been replaced in the past. They sure look original but the give away is that are installed with rivets, not staples. I should have known, Al Knoch would not likely have it wrong.
