    2004 Z06 Battery

    The original battery in my Z06, which is now approaching 6 years of age, continues to work fine as I have kept a trickle charge on it. However, given that it is 6 years olds, to be on the safe side, should I go ahead and replace it? And when I do replace it, is it as simple as just taking the old unit out and putting the new one in?

      Welcome John !

      From experience, I would say you are on borrowed time. I would replace it. Standard procedure to do so. Unhook it, put in a new one.

      I'm sure I don't have to tell you............................. keep the original.
