72 BB PS return hose clamp

Clamp for the power steering return hose:
    1) What is the correct type of clamp?
    2) What is the correct size?
    3) Is it dated?

    Thanks,
    MN

Melissa checked my old 71 return hose still has the original clamp on it. The clamp is called a 1 ear crimp style clamp. It has a special pair of pliers that compress the raised area of the clamp to compress against the hose. I will add an image with this reply. Also could find no dates or size markings on the outside of the clamp. But there is a manufacture logo its LC or LE the foot of the L goes through the center of the C or E not sure. But it looks like it would be C since its curved. Also the hose I have was made by the Swan hose company. The finish is silver. Paul 18046

The pliers that crimp that style clamp are readily available from many tool suppliers since that style clamp is commonly used on the boots of constant velocity joints used on FWD (Front Wheel Drive) cars.
