The first feature I noticed is the two different numeral zero's used in the engine assembly stampings. It also appears that the numeral 6 or 9 looks identical, as if it can be used interchangeably.
    And contrary to popular belief (at least in some circles) the stamps can be installed either of two orientations, so the six and nine can be identical, as you have noted.
