      Joe -- seems like we've been down this road many times. One of the last times discussed (August 2008, see link below), you cleverly called out '584' usage in Chevrolet from '66-on, specifically to avoid the 1965 model year "controversy" caused solely by A.Colvin's mention of the speedo cable changing from LH to RH in February of '65.

      Chevrolets had passenger side speedo take-offs from the START of production, and there's thousands of cars out there to prove it. .
