They're not the same. In fact, they're even "calibrated" a bit differently. The 63 dipstick was GM #3834117 and the 64 dipstick was GM #3846811 (also SERVICE for 1963); the 65 dipstick was GM #3864974. Why the difference? The upper dipstick tube changed for 1965.
