1977 ashtray

i needed a ashtray for my 77 vette so i got one from ecklers this one has 2 slots about half way down (rectangle about 1/2" long and 1/8" wide) on each sides with 2 plastic inserts that goes in the holes. can this be right for a 77 as far as i can remember my old 77 ashtray didnt have any solts in them. not that i smoke but it sounds like a good way to burn up a car. what should a 77 ashtray look like

any body have a 1977 vette with the orignal ashtray can u tell me what it looks like i've have a book comming but its not here yet
