Mecum Kissimmee Auction unrestored 67 427

    Hi:
Has anyone on this board had the opportunity to view this unrestored 67 427 Corvette that is being auctioned at the Mecum Kissimmee Auction on Saturday (Lot 160)? I was just wondering if anyone had any more information/pictures than the description from the auction house. Just trying to broaden my knowledge of these cars, and thought it might interest others. I've included a link to the auction description. Thanks for any replies!

Is that the car that has the factory grindout/restamp on the engine ID pad? If so, I know the car and it's excellent unrestored.

Is that the car that was in the Mecum display tent at Bloomington last summer? It did not sell at the Auction.

Micheal, the maroon 435 being auctioned is not the same car that you referring to. It too is a real deal car. It was also owned by Wayne Burkhart. The grindout 435 is currently owned by a collector in Wisconsin.

Ok, thanks Steve. Yes, there were two floating around at that same time (late 80's) and I couldn't remember which was which.

Is this Paul Pierce's car? He does not post much here but I am sure he'd be happy to answer any questions.

Joel, it is not Pauls car. His is radio delete and no side exhaust.
