posi cast numbers

I am a little confused on the following numbers, i need some help.


First one

3789812 B43 (feb 4 63)???

Second one

3789812 H275 (aug 27 65)????


I beleive the 3789812 is for a 62 or 61 but the cast date codes don't make sense? Maybe i am totally off????

The same castings used for C1 Corvettes were also used for passenger cars. Passenger cars used the same style rear end through 1964. So, that likely explains where the feb 4, 1963 casting came from.

I don't know that any passenger cars used this casting after 1964. However, other apps may have. In any event, the castings were manufactured for SERVICE well after the mid 60's.
