75 NOS EGR Valve

Does anyone have a picture or information on the label that goes on the top of the 75 EGR Valve. My L48 4 spd EGR is a 7043133 with "TB" broadcast code. The judging manual says the label is round with the broadcast code ( TB) printed. If you look at the pic of my NOS EGR it shows evidence of a square label that is long gone. Thanks, AL

I would bet that number 10401 is a date code. I can't decode it for you since the Corvettes I am familiar with don't have that part on them, but there are those who can decode it. I would expect the TIM&JG has the code information as well.

It is from a post farther down. If you go through the pictures, you will find one showing that sticker. It is round on the 374 mile 76. If yours is NOS, it is probably a service replacement part which could have had a different broadcast sticker than those installed at the factory. That may be why Terry was making reference to a date stamp. Chip.

Corvettes with EGR valves were never equipped with nitrous oxide.
