Are these 1982 CE wheels?

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and also a new owner of a 1971 Convertible that my wife purchased for me at Christmas. I'm sure as I take the long endeaver to restore the car I will have a ton of questions, but my first one is.... are these 1982 CE wheels? How could I officially identify them? These came on the corvette when she purchased it.

I don't think they are ce wheels. I am not sure what they are but the color and they design don't look like CE to me. Tom

The do appear quite similar to the 1982 Collector's Edition wheels. However, somehow, I don't think that's what they are. As Tom mentioned, the color of the paint seen between the spokes looks too dark to me.

A lot more can probably be revealed if you could remove one of the wheels and photograph any embossments seen on the rear side.

Could possibly be a repro knock-off/bolt-on with a different center. It is an attractive combination!

You should be able to positively ID these wheels by simply pulling the wheel. They should be marked on the inside surface. You shouldn't have to dismount.

I was going to vote in favour of 'yes, they're 82 CE' until I saw that the crossed flag logo is upside down. That's a sure sign of a repo part.

Brad, i have a 82ce also i have center caps in the gm box part#14035679 i dont have a pic but they look just like mine

Brad, when you pull the wheel off and the inside of the rim has "Rockwell Intl" and the code 14035670 you will know then that these are 1982 CE wheels.

I agree, CE wheels. I have handled many sets, and had a set restored.

Took the wheel off and this is what I found. I guess these are CE wheels.

Yes, that settles it. 1982 Collector's Edition wheels are what they are.
