Is it only me but watching the Barrett Jackson every time a Corvette is coming to stage they go to break. Why don`t they show all the auctions and not play Computer games and Idiots feeling of air cleaners. With approx 10% of their inventory Corvettes why can`t they have a Corvette hour several days with only Corvettes. They like to use the NCRS name a lot why doesn`t the Org. request not to cut out so many Corvettes! Just my opinion. Mike

Re: BJ Auction
I agree. I said the same thing to my wife as we watched. It seemed as though every time an interesting solid axle or mid-year was on deck they broke for one of their all too numerous commercials. With Ford as a sponsor it was predictable that they would get the limelight.- Top

Re: BJ Auction
On Sunday the third car from the finish of the auction was a 67 two top roadster with (I think) 68000 miles that sold in the high sixties.
I personally think that may have been one of the better buys for a Corvette. Car was 427/400 with papers, NOM but it looked very nice.- Top

Re: BJ Auction
I quit watching Friday, 5 minute commercials, I minute of cars, it seemed. Then "fuzznuts" getting 300 points for guessing close to what the car sold for. Ugg, No wonder Jackson was frowning most of the time. Just my opinion. Dale- Top

Re: BJ Auction
I tivo the entire auction then watch it at my convenience and skip the commercails, only way to watch it. Five minutes worth of commercial time in each spot break is a good thing for the network, that means the auction has a high viewership in the right demographic. Can't blame the network for that, without commercial time sold, they couldn't carry the auction at all.- Top

Re: BJ Auction
I'm glad to see this thread because I already had the thought that every time there was a Corvette in the "on deck" position they went to a commercial. I think that Ford, being a major sponsor probably had some input on this. Looks to me like they should rename it the BJ Mustang Sale!- Top

Re: BJ Auction
We are biased her, we love our vetttes. Don't forget that Ford is biased too. They are paying to showcase their name and it is possible that they is some sort of deal to showcase their products both old and new. Just an unbiased thought...- Top

Re: BJ Auction
I saw the same thing. Hardly any C3's. Steve Davis and Gary Bennett are big Ford guys. It showed in what ran across the block. I went in 2006. Say what you want, but it is a great experience and I would recommend it to any car guy. Well worth the trip.- Top

Re: BJ Auction
wanting to keep on top of the market, if that's what statement bj results send, and only because i'm tying to sell my 67 coupe, i went to bj's website and copied ALL the corvette lot #'s and then i knew when one was coming to the block. i lost count at 8 corvettes coming up next when they went to commercial. just a bit anoying to say the least. i ended up back at their website getting the final prices there. imo...prices aren't as bad as buyers hoped they would be. some good deals and some regular prices, too. just my opinion.
