    67 windshield wiper motor?

Just replaced the dash wiring harnes and as we were checking to make everything worked we turned on the windshield wipers. They went back and forth twice and then stopped half way. They no longer work. We checked the wiper swith and it is ok. Also as we turn the switch we can hear the clicking of the motor but the wipers don't move. Can anyone tell me where else I can look for the problem before I remove the motor. Who knows after 40 odd years maybe its the motor itself. Not sure.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jim,

I don't have the service book in front of me but keep in mind there is a ground wire that attaches to one of the wiper motor bolts and grounds at the starter attachment bolt. The switches in the car just ground the circuit to make the motor run.

Look in the archives for the procedure as I am certain it's been discussed.
