Just want to check on my understanding of the qualifications for the award. I got a Top Flight with my '88 in 2006 with a 97.3 at a chapter meet and a PV last year at a regional. Since the Top Flight is more than three years ago and at a chapter event, I'll need to have it judged again at a regional before attempting to get judged for the McLellan Award at this year's National. Correct?

Re: McLellan Award
You need a Regional Top Flight, PV, then a national top flight to obtain the McClellan. @ the national, you receive your sign-off for Cross Flags.- Top

Re: McLellan Award
Fred, you will need to get your regional top flight at either Gettysburg or Des Moines if you are planning to go for the McClellan this year. If you are going to Gettysburg I would suggest getting your registration in ASAP as I understand some classes are close to being fullDick Whittington- Top

Re: McLellan Award
Fred,
Just to avoid any misinterpretations, now that you have your recent PV, you will need a regional 97.0 without any driving points and then achieve a national final judging 97.0 without any driving points for the McLellan. Top Flights can be achieved with a 94.0 including driving points. Regards,
Arland- Top
