Re: Convention Information Available Now Online!
Is this the event you are aware of? This is scheduled for Wednesday, gates open at 3pm, racing 5pm to 9pm. I might actually participate if it is still going on. For $20 it's a bargain. (I thought I already replied to this thread but somehow this thread got branched out in several directions.)

Re: Convention Information Available Now Online!
NCRS or their chapter's cannot sanction a competition event due to the clauses in our master insurance policy. We have a very reasonable rate today, but if we were to sanction, or have a competition event in conjunction with one of our events, the rates would "go thru the roof" compared to what we are presently paying.

Depending on what your car is registered for at the National -- you may not be able to take it off the judging field. You may want to check with Reba to be sure you are OK leaving the judging field before you register for the drag race. This is definitely a situation where you want to ask permission. Begging forgiveness will not work.Terry- Top

Re: Convention Information Available Now Online!
hey all ..
I am thinking of using a car carrier to get my car there.
We will only have about an hour or so on Saturday to remove the cars (based on what I have read).
Can I have the carrier arrive Sunday 7AM early and keep my car locked up on the show field overnite Saturday?- Top

Re: Convention
The NASCAR Hall of Fame and Museum opened yesterday (May 11). I know many of you have registered for the tour of it during the convention. Go to thatsracing.com for a slide show of the opening, comments by drivers, and coverage by The Charlotte Observer.- Top
