54 spare tire

I have a 54 corvette that has been restored but did not come with a spare tire. The tires that came with the car are 6.70 x 15 Firestone Champion Deluxe whitewalls. The whitewall portion of the tire is 3.5 inches from the edge of the wheel rim to the outer edge of the white wall. I can't seem to find one like this for the spare. Any ideas?
Also for the sake of judging the only wheels I can find are black, will I need to get them painted red like the others? and will I need wheel weights on the spare also?
If anyone has any thoughts, I would really appreciate that.

You will need to paint the wheel red on both sides.

Sounds like you may have old tires. When did you get them? There were non DOT Firestones available from the original molds from Australia many years ago.

Why not use a non WW tire for your spare , not all spares were WW.

Thanks for the reply. I purchased the car in Dec. It came with those tires on it but no spare. The car has been in restoration for the last 9 years and finally completed b/4 I purchased it, so I don't know how old the tires are but look in pretty good shape. I want to have the car judged so I'm trying to make everything correct. The judging manuals are a little vaque on the spare. So you think the wheel need to be painted red just like the others? and any thoughts on the micro weights for balancing this tire?

Joe -

All five wheels should appear the same, but the spare tire doesn't have to match the four road tires (it did originally, but it doesn't have to for judging - it's judged separately from the road tires).

Yes should be red. weights I dont think it has to show them being on. Not ALL ties had to have weights if they came out good
