Alum. Rad and Fan & Shroud: What's it fit?

I have acquired an Aluminum Rad with the following numbers stamped: 3155316 65J
Also have a Fan & Shroud with mounting clips with a
    white stenciled number: 4266938
Would like some help identifying the application.
    Thanks.

    Norm,

According to DeWitts that radiator is correct for Corvette for 1960 and 1961 up to VIN 1700.

I think you might have mis-read the DeWitts page. The GM #3155316 radiator was used for all 1963-67 Corvette small blocks and some 1968-72 small blocks.

Pictures would help for an exact ID on the shroud.

it is a 1965"J" RADIATOR production date 'J' = October, so the radiator is for more than likely a November 1965 production 1966 small block Corvette, vin number 4384 to 7126. Parts were usually 2-6 weeks before the cars production. You probably have an old original radiator that was no good and replaced.

Now, is fan shroud metal or fiberglass ?

Yup. I misread the DeWitts webpage. Joe, you're correct, as usual.

Now don't start getting the idea that I'm always right, because I'm definitely not. If I was, I wouldn't need to come here to get myself "straightened out".

                Joe,

You may not always be right, but percentage-wise, you are way up there.
