Florida Regional Meet

I am attempting to attend the Florida Regional meet. I am trying to get plane ticket. I know it's kind of last minute planning, but anyone know of any hotels close to the event that might not be booked? I am going down with hopes of finding a car to buy. If I find a car I would like a NCRS member to take a look at it with me. I hope I can meet up with someone. I appreciate your help. Joe DeLuca Member 37862

check out the Mecum site since the auction is the following Thursday-Sunday. There is usually some nice cars there.

Is it necessary to rent a car? I thought I could take a cab from and to the airport. I am arriving late Thursday evening and leaving on Saturday afternoon. I have to be home on Saturday night. Joe

Pre-book a shuttle bus right to the hotel:

much cheaper than a taxi, no need for a rental car.

There is a suttle service that offers a $31 round trip to the hotel and back to the airport

It's a nice place (in spite of the fact that both Mike and I will be staying there )

My wife and I have stayed there several times for the Kissimmee NCRS meet. Very convenient to everything. Many restaurants within walking distance, etc.

I agree no rental car needed.Everything is right there within walking distance. Tom
