    PF 141 Oil Canister Silkscreen

I am thinking on having my canister silk screened. I always wash it by immersing and flushing with clean gasoline. I have painted this canister with a VERY durable semigloss black product, and am concerned about the durability of the white silk screening.
The semigloss black easily stands up to gas, and is tough enough to survive limited immersion in lacquer thinner.
I am looking at OrrinD**** to do the silk screening.

You could stop using gasoline. There are many water soluble automotive degreasers out there that work just fine.

You could clear coat it. It would probably be hard to tell it's coated when it's on the car.

Or you could use gasoline to clean it a few times and see if there is any detrimental effects and if so, then do one of the above.
