"I held her very close that night and even with the warmth we felt, we knew this wouldn't be forever. And inexplicably we both cried and held on tight to each other not wanting to lose what we already had. And we wiped away each others tears and slowly drifted away to that comfortable place in our sleep where reality doesn't exist. And like most mortal souls, we didn't try to deal with it in the morning, but instead pretended that things would change…when in our hearts we knew otherwise….and that we were lost."
